Allied Adds Carrier Passport and Commercial Policy View Inquiry to its TransactNOW Implementation

Windsor, CT — Allied Insurance has added Carrier Passport and Commercial Policy View inquiry as part of its TransactNOW™ implementation. Allied agencies using AMS management systems have been using TransactNOW to access personal and commercial lines billing, claim and personal lines policy view inquiries from their management systems. Their agents are now ready to take TransactNOW to the next step.

TransactNOW enables AMS management system customers to process business transactions with carriers via a real-time single-entry workflow, without having to leave their system. Initially launched with inquiry functionality, the Carrier Passport feature of TransactNOW is a significant enhancement. Using the login IDs and passwords already stored in TransactNOW, Carrier Passport takes the user directly from the TransactNOW inquiry to the full spectrum of functionality accessible through the carrier's Web site without having to re-enter their logins and passwords. For carriers that support real-time endorsement processing and other transactions on their Web site, Carrier Passport is a significant time-saver for the agency.

In the 10 months since its launch, nearly 2300 agencies have begun using TransactNOW, and the numbers continue to grow every day. TransactNOW uses ACORD standards and XML technology to integrate carrier web site functionality into agency management system workflow. This means transactions and carriers can be rapidly added, and agents can rapidly deploy.
