Next Release of AMS 360 Unveiled at National Users' Conference
Indianapolis, IN (April 26, 2004) — AMS Services announced the next release (version 1.5) of AMS 360, adding significant functionality and workflow enrichment tools to this leading agency business system.
AMS 360 is built from the ground up using Microsoft’s .NET technology while retaining the heart and soul of industry-leading AfW. Since its general release in November 2003, nearly 200 agencies have chosen AMS 360 to help them grow their businesses.
AMS 360 version 1.5 adds revolutionary new tools that streamline productivity while enhancing customer service and increasing sales.
Highlights of this new version include:
- Alerts!360 - Notifies users whenever pre-defined conditions occur, such as policies about to expire, renewals with premium increases over an agency defined percentage, or bank balances dropping below a preset threshold, reducing E&O exposure and improving customer service and employee productivity.
- CRM Campaign Management - By putting sales and retention campaign tasks on “auto-pilot,” AMS 360 allows producers to concentrate on the sales process and closing sales instead of administering lead generation and clerical prospecting activities.
- Email360 - Enhanced integration with Microsoft Outlook automatically attaches a copy of all outbound emails, including any attachments, to the AMS 360 activity log with a single mouse click. Inbound emails, including any attachments, can now be “dragged and dropped” into AMS 360 for permanent reference. For agencies using alternative MAPI email programs, a new “Contacts” dialog provides similar functionality. In addition, AMS 360 “Suspense” items can now be exported directly to Microsoft Outlook’s calendar or task list.
- Document360 - Embeds true document management functionality right into the agency’s workflow, allowing the user to scan, view, route, attach and rapidly retrieve documents electronically for a truly paperless workflow, all within the AMS 360 database.
- Real-time Endorsements – utilizes the power of AMS 360’s “Web services”, and TransactNOW’s Carrier Passport functionality to create a seamless, single entry endorsement workflow.
The new version also includes an automated software utility that enables current AfW Online and AfW in-house users to easily migrate, while preserving their existing data, and without incurring any software license upgrade fees.
