Four ACORD Accomplishment Awards Presented at
2006 ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum
Las Vegas (ACORD/LOMA Insurance System Forum) – May 23, 2006 — AMS Services, a leading provider of software solutions for the insurance industry, announced today it has been recognized by ACORD with four distinct awards for outstanding achievement in implementation of ACORD XML data standards. The ACORD Awards recognize outstanding achievement for standards implementation that highlight business value, business opportunities and trading partners. The four awards AMS Services received included the Business Integration Enabler Award, the Shared Service and/or Infrastructure Platform Provider Award, the Outsourcer Award and the AL3/XML Data Transformation Award.

AMS Services follows ACORD XML standards in both its TransactNOW® and SETWrite™ solutions. The SETWrite solution streamlines the process of obtaining accurate rate information from multiple carriers by enabling agents to access rates from, and submit insurance data to, multiple carriers in real time through single-entry transactions. With more than 30 carriers in production and 15 additional carriers in development, SETWrite provides the broadest real-time carrier connectivity in the industry.
AMS Services' TransactNOW solution is the industry's fastest method of connecting to carriers, and puts agents in direct, real-time contact with a carrier's client information database. The solution allows agents to quote requests, process endorsements and file new business submissions as well as conduct comprehensive billing, claims and policy view inquiries from one simple interface. Transaction rates have increased 789 percent since TransactNOW was released in 2003 jumping to 8,000 per day.
