First MGA Joins Growing List of TransactNOW Partners

Windsor, CT — AMS Services added Managing General Agent (MGA), Jimcor Agencies to its growing list of TransactNOW partners.  Insurance agents representing Jimcor Agencies will now have instant access to Jimcor's Website directly from their desktop using TransactNOW Carrier Passport.

TransactNOW enables AMS management system customers to process business transactions with carriers via a real-time, single-entry workflow without leaving their system. Initially launched with billing and claim inquiries, AMS has added policy view inquiries, Carrier Passport, real-time endorsements, quote-and-issue and much, much more. Carrier Passport enables users to go directly from the TransactNOW inquiry to the full spectrum of functionality available through the carrier's Web site without manually having to open up a new browser window.

Since its launch early in 2003, more than 4,000 agencies are actively using TransactNOW. TransactNOW uses ACORD standards and XML technology to integrate carrier Web site functionality into agency management system workflow. This means transactions and carriers can be rapidly added and agents can rapidly deploy TransactNOW.
