Allstate Adds New Functionality to TransactNOW

Windsor, CT — Allstate® has added personal and commercial claim inquiry to their existing TransactNOW™ implementation. Since March 2004, AMS agents representing Allstate have been using TransactNOW for personal and commercial lines auto billing inquiries. Adding the claim inquiry adds significant time savings for Allstate agencies.

TransactNOW enables AMS management system customers to process business transactions with carriers via a real-time single-entry workflow, without having to leave their system. Introduced with personal and commercial lines billing and claim inquiry, in one year AMS added policy view inquiry, Carrier Passport, real-time endorsements and most recently, new business quote-and-issue.

Since its launch early in 2003, more than 3,000 agencies are actively using TransactNOW. TransactNOW uses ACORD® standards and XML technology to integrate carrier Web site functionality into agency management system workflow. This means transactions and carriers can be rapidly added, and agents can rapidly deploy. Developed in close cooperation with The AMS Users’ Group, TransactNOW is available to agencies using all AMS management system products. For further information, contact AMS at iisg@amsworld.com.
