Auto-Owners Joins List of AMS’s TransactNOW™ Carriers

Windsor, CT — AMS Services, Inc. adds Auto-Owners Insurance to the growing list of TransactNOW™ carriers. By year-end, AMS agents representing Auto-Owners will have the ability to access billing, claim and policy view inquiries using TransactNOW.

TransactNOW enables AMS management system customers to process business transactions with carriers via a real-time single-entry workflow, without having to leave their system. In addition to the personal and commercial lines inquiry functions, AMS has added “Carrier Passport,” a single sign-on feature that provides users with immediate access to the carrier Web site without having to re-enter their logins and passwords. In less than 9 months since its launch, nearly 2000 agencies have begun using TransactNOW, and the numbers continue to grow every day.

TransactNOW uses ACORD standards and XML technology to integrate carrier web site functionality into agency management system workflow. This means transactions and carriers can be rapidly added, and agents can rapidly deploy.
