The St. Paul Companies adds Carrier Passport
to its TransactNOW Implementations
Windsor, CT — The St. Paul Companies has implemented Carrier Passport as part of its TransactNOW™ functionality. The St. Paul Companies was one of the first carriers to implement TransactNOW, last March. Agents using AMS management systems have been using TransactNOW to access personal and commercial lines billing, claim and policy view inquiries. They are now ready to take the next step.
Announced in September, the Carrier Passport feature of TransactNOW uses the login Ids and passwords already stored in TransactNOW to enable direct and immediate entry into carrier Web sites. When a CSR needs to go straight into the carrier Web site from the TransactNOW inquiry to continue the workflow, it can be done with a single click, without opening a new Browser window.
By the end of 2003, AMS will be implementing real-time endorsements through Carrier Passport. Those carriers that have implemented Carrier Passport in advance will be the first to deliver this time-savings to their agents.
TransactNOW uses ACORD standards and XML technology to integrate carrier Web site functionality into agency management system workflow. This means transactions and carriers can be rapidly added, and agents can rapidly deploy. Developed in close cooperation with The AMS Users’ Group, TransactNOW is available to agencies using all AMS management system products. For further information, contact AMS at iisg@amsworld.com.
